Do not assume everyone uses a single instance tomcat - many of us have a separate CATALINA_HOME and CATALINA_BASE.
In the new IDE you have to choose your tomcat directory, so the assumption is that CATALINA_HOME = CATALINA_BASE.
Please extend the dialog such that we can enter CATALINA_BASE if it is not the same as CATALINA_HOME.

How many years have you been supporting Tomcat !!!!!
