Events - Community Can schedule an event and notify all members of a community
Event Invitations - Individuals Can schedule an event and invite specific members
Event Responses - Users can respond to event invitations with Yes / No / Maybe

I think the notion of a group calendar is best implemented as a user calendar in which select users are delegated to impersonate it.
