A Newsletter is a 1 to many system: one user write the issue and the system send it by email to subscribed users.
If the recipent reply to the message his reply is discarded.
A user can subscribe or unsubscribe to Newsletter sending email to special account or with special subject.

MessageBoard portlet allow to activate a MailingList per category. A mailing list is a many to many system. One write a message that is delivered to all oher subscribed user, and every reply is delivered to other subscribed user.
