Hello,
I'm unable to connect the mail portlet to neither our own mail server nor my private ISP's mail server.
I've added screenshots for the configuration to our internal mail server and the stacktrace I'm getting in the console when the portlet tries to connect to the server.
Please note from the screenshots that I have configured the mail account in Thunderbird and we're also running a roundcube 0.8.1 webmail client against the mail server.

just wanted to know if anybody is taking care of this?
The mail portlet is now an independent portlet in the market place, it should be possible to fix this problem and release a new version before releasing a new major release of Liferay?
