Description
We have restricted the number of liferay portlets that are available to users by deactivating them in the control panel under "Plugins Configuration".
It seems to work fine, but it has caused a problem with the Asset Publisher Portlet.
The Asset Publisher allows us to add new content to five different types. Unfortunately, one of them - the "Document Library Document" - is one of the portlets that we have removed (deactivated) from our list of available portlets.
There should either be a way to manually remove / edit items from the "Add New..." list on the asset publisher through the configuration or automatically by checking the activated / deactivated portlets.

I rolled back this fix because adding a manual configuration doens't solve the problem fully. For example, suppose you have 10 communities each with asset publisher on it. Now you have to configure all 10.
This is a system level configuration that shouldn't be exposed to individual admins.
The proper fix isn't to deactivate the portlet, but to find some way to configure it in one spot. Will research and reapply fix.
