      Description

      The remove method can lead to memory leaks if not properly handled.
      This is due to the potential for events that are still attached to the element (or a child element) to stay around and not get collected.

      To properly destroy an element and remove all of it's events (and children's events), pass the boolean true as the first argument to .remove();
