      Description

      The act of creating an account on a store's site can be a cumbersome experience that not all buyers want to do. This barrier can reduce conversation rates. Giving buyers the option to place an order without creating an account can recapture lost opportunities to make a sale.

      This is typically more important for B2C, though not exclusively. For example, Grainger.com (MRO) offers guest checkout.
