Order Date is missing a default value for when a value didn't previously exist

    Details

      Description

      Background
Prior to Commerce 2.0.7, there was only the concept of an order creation date. In 2.0.7, Commerce introduces the concept of an order date as well for cases where there is data integration or data import and the creation of the record in Commerce is not synonymous with when the order was actually created by a customer.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create an order in a Commerce version prior to 2.0.7 (e.g. 2.0.6).
      2. Upgrade Commerce to 2.0.7.
      3. View the order in Control Panel → Commerce → Orders

      Expected Behavior
The order's creation date is shown under the column "Order Date"

      Actual Behavior
"Unknown" is shown under the column "Order Date"

      Notes

      • In the Order Admin (Control Panel → Commerce → Orders), the data we are displaying to admin users switched from Order Creation Date to Order Date in 2.0.7.
