We provided a Commerce hotfix to the customer for issue described in LPP-36693. Customer confirmed it resolved that issue, however, he noticed that when he clicks Next in order to paginate through the list of products, the Sort By "New Items" setting/selection is reset. And they also get some exceptions in the logs.

I was not able to reproduce this issue, it was working fine for me.
