There are many system settings which configure how often a check is made or how frequently something is updated. For example, Wish List Delete Interval.
In many (if not all) cases, though, we don't tell the user what the unit of time is. This makes it hard if not impossible for a user to understand whether the configuration will translate into milliseconds, seconds, minutes, hours, days, months or years.
- Audit all Commerce System Settings (Control Panel → System Settings → Commerce) and identify all system settings which configure a duration of time.
- Identify what the unit of time is, e.g. seconds, minutes, hours etc.
- Put the label inside the field using the Text Input Group With Units style (see Clay Connected Input Group),
- If using the input group with units style is not possible in System Settings, place the unit of time within the field name itself with the format "[Field Name] ([Unit of Time])". E.g. if the field name is Check Interval and the unit of time is minutes, update the field name to Check Interval (Minutes).
