Sort portlet does not participate in searches on Content Pages because it is not instanceable

      Description

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Create a new site based on Minium

      2. Convert the product catalog page from a Widget page to a Content Page

      3. Publish the Content Page

      4. Type "brake" in the search box and execute the search

      5. Select an item from the Sort dropdown

      Expected Results

      The search results are updated according to the selected sort criteria.

      Actual Results

      The search results are unaffected.
