Unable to navigate to view with query-string that contains dot character(s)

    Details

      Description

This actually isn't a bug in the bridge, but I think better to classify it as a Mojarra incompatibility with JSR 329 requirements.

Specifically, the Mojarra MultiViewHandler.getActionURL(FacesContext, String) method does not properly handle viewId values that contain dot characters as part of the query-string. For example, if the specified viewId is "/view.xhtml?javax.portlet.faces.PortletMode=edit" then Mojarra will think the filename extension is ".PortletMode" instead of ".xhtml".

But since there are so many versions of Mojarra out there, it's easier to just work-around this problem in the bridge.
