The FACES-1866 task provided a new 2.2.x branch that that provides compatibility for JSF 1.2 + Liferay Portal 6.2. This task involves creating a new liferay-faces-legacy project in the 2.2.x branch that contains a subset of the deprecated JSF features that were removed from Liferay Portal as part of LPS-34945.
