Invalid error message in the server log "bridgeRequestScope is NOT in the cache"

    Details

      Description

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Build Liferay Faces from source

      2. Deploy the jsf2-ipc-events-customers-portlet and the jsf2-ipc-events-bookings-portlet

      3. Click on a customer in the customers portlet

      4. Edit the name of the customer over in the bookings portlet and click Submit

If the bug still exists, then an error message similar to the following will appear in the log:

      17:43:36,631 ERROR [BridgePhaseBaseImpl:238] Found render parameter name=[customerscom.liferay.faces.bridge.bridgeRequestScopeId]
value=customers:::E49D02870F7FAFB2576D84228568EC2B:::1433526190915] BUT bridgeRequestScope is NOT in the cache

If the bug is fixed, then this error message will not appear in the log. The reason why the error message is invalid, is because it should only appear when the com.liferay.faces.bridge.bridgeRequestScopePreserved context-param/init-param is true. But the default value is false – and so when the bridge request scope is not preserved, then it is not in the cache.
