Portlets With Refresh Enabled Do Not Retain Their Window State

Portlets with refresh enabled do not maintain their window state when a user leaves the page and returns to it later on. This can also be seen when a portlet with refresh is minimized and then refreshed. The minimized portlet is refreshed into it's normal window state.
