Shopping portlet using foreign currency will display and save values incorrectly in currency fields

When setting the currency to a non-US currency, the price and the shipping fields on the edit item screen will display 0. Also, currency fields on the configuration screen, edit coupon screen, and edit order screen will display "EUR#.##" (if using EUR as the currency), and if you were to modify the value while leaving the "EUR" there, the value will be saved as 0 or display an error. This has been resolved by having these fields only display the value and not the currency symbol along with it.
