Comments can be lost after Web Content with comments is moved to recycle bin on live and then a updated version of the Web Content is published to live.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a site with Local Staging of all assets
- Go to the Staging Site
- Create a Web Content
- Create Page with Web Content Display
- Configure portlet to display the new Web Content
- Configure the Web Content Portlet to enable comments: Setup > Content Metadata > Comments
- Publish to live
- Go to Live site and add a Comment in the Web Content Portlet
- Go to Live Site > Content & Data > Web Content
- Move the Web Content to Recycle Bin
- Go to Staged site and make a change to the Web Content
- Publish the change
Expected Result: The comment from the original Web Content article is present
Actual Result: The comment from the Web Content article is not present
