Use documents in content pages, web contents and blogs from multiple content repositories in a site

    Details

      Description

      As a content creator

I want to use in a page/web content/blog entry, documents/images stored in a particular repository

so that I can reuse the resources already available without having to duplicate them

      Motivation

As part of the multi-repository content management, this story aims to provide the capability of using the content stored in a repository in pages/web contents/blog entries, etc of different sites.

      Glossary:

      • Site: the classic Liferay concept of site, a set of pages (public and/or private). Consider (for now) that every Site has an internal repository associated to store the content: documents, web content, wiki, blog.
      • Repository: a place where elements of different types of content (in the broad sense) are stored to later be used in a site or through

      Acceptance criteria

Given a site with an internal repository and another repository connected to it

When a user needs to select (for example) an image to include in a content page/web content or blog entry

Then she will be able to select one image she has permissions to view, from all the repositories connected to that site.

Given a site with an internal repository and another repository connected to it

When a page with an image, with "guest view", stored in another repository is published

Then all users visiting the page will see the image properly.
