Background. Why does this feature exist? Who needed it? What problem does it solve? How can it be used by the user or developer? How does it make life easier?
Please see LPS-110668 for a description of the feature in general.
LPS-110450 simply contributes SaaS environment specific language overrides so we are suggesting to SaaS portal instances admins actions they cannot carry out.
Features. What does this feature do? For example, does it let you add/change/delete anything? How else does it operate on data? Can a developer modify or customize any of these features? Why would anybody want to use or develop on this?
Overrides the language translations to remove reference to System Settings.
The following messages can appear in a Saas environment for Instance Admins when they configure SAML:
- Identity provider is not supported in SaaS mode, so the role has been disabled.
- The identity provider role is not supported in SaaS. Please migrate to an alternate identity provider solution.
Deploy the saml-saas module. This will register the overrides which can then be seen above and as part of the help text for the "SAML Role" field on SAML Admin.
Code. Provide example code illustrating an example of this feature. Explain what the code does and how it works. Key related classes/methods and modules, configuration interfaces; any specific implementation details that helps understanding how it works, provides hints for debugging and fixing.
