Purge 404 urls after n (configurable) days without occurrences

    Details

      Description

      As a site admin

I want that 404 urls where the last occurrence happened long time ago are deleted

so that the DB is not overwhelmed with URLs that are not visited anymore

By default, the 404 URLs are deleted after 30 days without any occurrence. This value can be modified with the property

      redirectNotFoundEntryMaxAge within com.liferay.redirect.internal.configuration.FFRedirectConfiguration.config

      Acceptance criteria

Given a site with "http://localhost:8080/web/guest/fakeURL" registered as a 404 url

When 30 days (or the number of days configured) pass without any user hitting it

Then the system will remove it from the list
