Cannot see custom web content field via WCD

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to Web Content > Add a custom structure with web content field > Add a template for it
2. Add basic web content as follows.
   • title: testwc1
   • content: testwc1
3. Add another web content with the added custom structure as follows.
   • title: testwc2
   • content: select testwc1
4. Go to a widget page > add a WCD portlet > Configuration
5. Select testwc2
6. View the page

Expected Result:
Both web content's title and web content's content display in WCD.

Actual Result:
Only web content's title displays in WCD, no web content's content.
