      Description

Edit forms will sometimes display certain fields as read-only to provide additional context for the user. App Builder should allow administrators to optionally set native or extended fields as read-only when building a custom form view. For example, an administrator may want to create a custom form view to allow users to change their name and screen name but not their email address. The administrator still wants to display the email address as a read-only field so the user can see what email is associated to their profile.

App Builder should also allow displaying non-editable native fields as part of a custom form view. For example, field values like auto-generated ID, version, and last modified date cannot be edited, but administrators may want to display these values in read-only mode when editing a data record.
