As a categories administrator for a site I can see all inherited vocabularies when accessing the Categories administration application

    Details

      Description

      Description

Currently the categories administration application for a site allows managing the vocabularies created within the current site. However when creating a content, authors will also be offered the option to select categories from vocabularies defined at a global level or by parent sites (those vocabularies are "inherited").

The goal of this story is to show inherited vocabularies within the categories administration application, so that it's more obvious for the administrator which vocabularies will be available for authors and to browse the categories they provide. It will not be possible to make changes within the "inherited" vocabularies, to prevent inadvertently making changes that will impact other sites.

Note: For reference, this feature should work similarly to how Fragments administration shows inherited collections

      Acceptance Criteria

      • Given a site which is not Global

      • Then the existing Global vocabularies appear as locked and it's not possible to edit them

      • When a change in Global Vocabularies is made (deleted, new categories added, new vocabularies added)
      • Then the Global vocabularies section in a site's Categories administration application updates accordingly
