Regions are meant to distinguish the provinces or states within a country. For this section of Countries, the nomenclature should follow the recognized ISO Subdivision Codes. The ISO Subdivision Code comprises of the Two-Letter ISO Code, a separator, and up to three alphanumeric characters denoting the province/state/region (e.g., the Riau province of Indonesia will have an ISO Subdivision Code of “ID-RI”).
- Regions shall have the following editable fields:
- Localizable name (Required)
- Region ISO Code
- All fields will be blank by default, but user input will persist in the system when the user clicks Save.
An option to Import Regions that auto-populates the Regions table with the canonical regions of a respective country (e.g., all 50 states for the United States).
