DESCRIPTION

Regions are meant to distinguish the provinces or states within a country. For this section of Countries, the nomenclature should follow the recognized ISO Subdivision Codes. The ISO Subdivision Code comprises of the Two-Letter ISO Code, a separator, and up to three alphanumeric characters denoting the province/state/region (e.g., the Riau province of Indonesia will have an ISO Subdivision Code of “ID-RI”). 

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Regions shall have the following editable fields:
   1. Localizable name (Required)
   2. Region ISO Code
2. All fields will be blank by default, but user input will persist in the system when the user clicks Save.

FUTURE CONSIDERATION

An option to Import Regions that auto-populates the Regions table with the canonical regions of a respective country (e.g., all 50 states for the United States).
