Progressive Web Apps are user experiences that have the reach of the web, and are:

• Reliable - Load instantly and never show the downasaur, even in uncertain network conditions.
• Fast - Respond quickly to user interactions with silky smooth animations and no janky scrolling.
• Engaging - Feel like a natural app on the device, with an immersive user experience.

This new level of quality allows Progressive Web Apps to earn a place on the user's home screen.

The goal of this epic is to provide the necessary guidance and infrastructure to leverage PWAs within the Liferay DXP ecosystem and explain what can be done and clarify what assumptions are valid in this context.

Acceptance Criteria

• Liferay provides clear and extensive documentation as to what it means to support and leverage PWAs in the context of DXP
• Infrastructure is updated to support the common features of PWAs
• A clear user story is published with the benefits of using PWAs for specific use cases within DXP
