Steps to Reproduce:

1. Navigate to Admin > Content & Data> Dynamic Data Lists > Manage Data Definitions
2. Create and save a Definition with a nested field (I used a text field as the parent field, and a Integer field as the child field)
3. Create a Dynamic Data List based on this Definition
4. Create a record

Expected Result
Create a record successfully.

Actual Result
Can not create a record.
