Motivation
Currently only one segment is allowed as audience for a given experience. With this story we want to reduce the cases when creating new experiences is needed. By allowing to select more than one segment for a given experience:
- users are not forced to create so many segments in order to address different personalized experiences
- users are not forced to replicate experiences with minimal variations
- We can foster "two levels personalization": users can leverage the capabilities of collection personalization, as they can create just one experience for different segments, and then personalize a collection display/ asset publisher in the page
Design
Technical Requirements
- When creating a new experience or editing an existing one, users can add several segments as Audience (Max. recommended?)
- When duplicating one experience, the copy will keep the same segments than the original one
- The experience will be active for those segments that have not another experience placed higher on the list
- Ideally, the label should be assigned by Audience, that is, the same experience can be active for some audiences while inactive for others, and this should be reflected somewhere in the UI: when clicking in the Audiences label, a modal will be displayed with all segments involved and the active label will be shown in the corresponding cases
