Goal

The purpose of these tests is to validate if the old Documents & Media assets can properly upgrade to master (i.e. with the new data engine fields).

Test Scope

We will scope our test environment to Tomcat/MySQL. Please check the following:

Pre-Upgrade Setup

These can be tested separately or in a group.

• Add documents
• Add images
• Add document types (default and custom)
• Add documents using document types and custom metadata sets
• Add custom metadata sets
• Add shortcuts
• Add videos

Post-Upgrade Validation

• Everything mentioned above upgraded successfully with no console errors
• Everything mentioned above is displayed properly in the UI
• CRUD operations can be performed on everything above with no errors
