In 7.3 we included the Content Audit Tool in order to help content marketing teams to assess their content strategy execution and performance. While the first part of the process (quantitative) was accomplished (letting to know how many assets there are for each combination of categories), the second part, the qualitative performance insights are provided just at the web content level, with no comparison or aggregated information capabilities.
With this story we want to have the possibility of retrieving information of AC-provided metrics (views, reads, previews, traffic channels) in an async way, so we can use this information from the DXP side to build aggregated metrics for the web content.
- From the DXP side, the easier way to that is AC to push that information periodically (ideally once a day) through an endpoint
- Ideally it will be possible to request any updates in:
- views and reads of pages
- downloads/previews of documents
- referral, social, organic and paid traffic of pages
