Intro/Context:

The goal of this story is to let a Content Author access to an item selector for a given item type mapped to a Display Page Template.

Given a Content Author has mapped a structured Content to a Display Page Template and is editing the DPT.

Edit mode

When accessing the item selector from the top dark navbar of the product menu 

Then the Content Author should be able to list all the items belonging to this item type.

When selecting an item from the list of content

Then the edited page should be refreshed and display the page together with the selected content

When displaying a Display Page Template in context of an item

Then all editing functions should be still working and accessible

Performance & Visualization

When browsing a long lists (example: more than 15)

Then the selector should provide an option to search an item in an efficient manner (in few seconds)

• Scrolling when number of items more than X
• Also the editor should not experience lags.

 

Excluded:

The list doesn't need to be pre-populated for the first version of that feature.
