Case 1:
View the custom site settings are kept after upgrade from 7.3
- Start a 7.3 portal
- Add a new site based on Blank Site template
- Select the default site as parent site
- Expand the Site URL section
- Change the site friendly URL to /beijing2008
- Navigate to Language tab > Check the Define a custom default language and additional available languages for this site.
- Change the default language to Chinese
- Shutdown the server
- Copy the data folder to master bundle
- Upgrade to master
- Start server
- Navigate to Site Settings in new site
- Navigate to Site Configuration
- Assert the default site is selected in Parent Site field
- Navigate to Site URL tab
- Assert the site friendly URL is /beijing2008
- Navigate to Localization
- Assert the default language is Chinese
Case 2:
The changes of site scope configuration in Instance Settings should be applied to the site
- Add a new site
- Site Settings > Message Boards
- Site Scope > Message Boards Moderation Workflow
- Assert the Enable Message Boards Moderation is unchecked
- Applications Menu > Control Panel > Instance Settings > Message Boards
- Site Scope > Message Boards Moderation Workflow
- Check the Enable Message Boards Moderation
- Save
- Navigate to Site Settings in new site > Message Boards
- Site Scope > Message Boards Moderation Workflow
- Assert the Enable Message Boards Moderation is checked
