User Story

As a new insurance shopper that has selected a BOP quote to purchase, I want to quickly create an account so that once I purchase my quote, I can log into my account right away.

Acceptance Criteria:

Given that I’m a new insurance shopper that selected a BOP quote to purchase, when I click to continue, then I should be prompted to create an account.

Account Creation:

• Page default view has Account Creation section expanded
• Section Title: “1. Create an Account”
• Text: “Create a Raylife account to continue. This will be used to login to your dashboard.”
• Form Fields
  • "Email"
    • Required field
    • Validation:
      • Must have "@" and a "." or else display, "Please enter a valid email address."
  • "Create a Password"
    • Required field
    • Masked field
    • Validation:  Password validation will have checkmarks that dynamically update as a user types
      • “At least 8 characters”
      • “At least 5 unique characters”
      • “At least 1 symbol”
      • “At least 1 number”
      • “No spaces allowed”
      • When a validation does not pass, it will be highlighted in red as per mockup (example below)
        
      • When a validation matches, it will be highlighted in greed as per mockup (example below)
        
  • "Re-enter Password"
    • Required field
    • Masked field
    • Validation:  Password validation will have checkmarks that dynamically update as a user types
      • “Passwords are the same” (i.e. Password entered must match the one entered in “Create a Password” field)
        • If passwords do not match, it will be highlighted in red as per mockup (example below)
          
        • if passwords match, it will be highlighted in green as per mockup
          

"Create Account" CTA: 

• “Create Account” will only be enabled once all required fields have been met
• When clicked, a call will be made to create the user’s account by leveraging the OOTB DXP account creation functionality.
• If account creation is unsuccessful, the following error message will display:  “Unable to create your account. Please try again.”
  
• If account creation is successful, the section will collapse and a green checkmark will signify its completion

Mobile Responsiveness:

• All pages must be mobile-friendly
• NOTE: ACTUAL MOBILE-RESPONSIVE DESIGNS AS SHOWN IN THE MOCKUP WILL BE COVERED UNDER A SEPARATE EPIC (LPS-134804).  WE JUST NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE STORY CAN BE VIEWED AS PASSABLE ON A MOBILE DEVICE
