The User Experience Display Epic aims to deliver a fully integrated experience between Liferay Objects and the page building experience. It can be highlighted 3 goals for this epic:
- Allow users to use forms to gather data and save in the object data storage in a page;
- Allow users to display object entries in a page;
- Allow users to show the details of an object entry in a page.
- Customize the look and feel of Forms without creating entirely new custom themes
Today, during the page building experience, it is not possible to customize specificaly the look and feel of the forms. This is specially valuable now that forms are being used as interface to gather data to storage in objects data base.
To allow users to build consistent and valuable experiences to their customers, we need to find a way to customize without code, via UI, our forms look and feel, which is the final goal of Liferay Objects.
After some investigation and due to our small time box to deliver those capabilities, the ideal solution for now needs to leverage in existing solutions in DXP, as Style Books.
