Searching for users doesn't redirect to the directory portlet

Clicking on the search result for a user doesn't redirect to the page that the directory portlet is on.

1. Add a page called Directory Test Page
2. Add the directory portlet
3. Go back to the Welcome/home page
4. Add the search portlet
5. Search for user "Test"
6. Click on the search result

Instead of being redirected to the portlet on Directory Test Page, you see an error message that says "You do not have the roles required to access this portlet" on the Welcome/home page.
