Setting a common style for mobile viewport is affecting desktop viewport

    Details

      Description

The responsive viewport styles should be propagated from the desktop to the smaller viewports, but not the other way around. This is happening because we are not setting any default state for each viewport, Therefore, when a style is applied to a smaller viewport it applies bigger viewports too.

      Steps to reproduce

      • Create a content page
      • Add a heading
      • Change to mobile viewport
      • Change the margin top of the heading to 5
      • Publish
      • Visit published page

      Expected result

The margin top is not applied in desktop viewport, and it is only applied if you shrink the screen to fit mobile viewport

      Actual result

The margin top is applied to the desktop viewport
