      Description

      Some ideas to improve OOTB logging:

      • Kill catalina.out usage on the bundle distributions, since it's only freed when the server goes down - unwanted
      • Allow log level change from a list of categories instead of classnames to allow non-liferay-dev admins to activate logs without knowing class/package names
      • Guarantee log rotation OOTB
      • Include tool to monitor logging on Server Adminstration
      • Provide logging output configuration from the Server Admin UI
