Navigation Menu is broken when an object item is deleted

1) Go to Apps Menu > Control Panel > Objects, create a new one, call it "My Object" and edit it

2) Go to Fields tab and create a new string field

3) Come back to Details and select that field in Title Field. Then in Panel Category Key selector, select Applications > Custom Apps

4) Now go to Apps Menu > Applications > Custom Apps > My Object and create two items

5) Create a Navigation Menu and add an item of type My Object

6) Come back to Applications > Custom Apps > My Object and delete that item

7) Edit the navigation menu again

 

Expected: The navigation menu can be edited

Actual: The navigation menu is broken and can't be edited
