Improvement of fragments configuration options

      Objective

      The scope of this epic is to implement several different improvements that have been proposed to the product team through FRs, with the intention to improve the configuration options of Fragments to better adapt to customer needs.

      These feature requests are accepted when the gap they cover can be perceived as a "lack of core functionality" of fragments, or perceived mis-functioning.

      Feature requests related to new fragment types that would be "cool to have" should be out of scope of the product team.
