Paginator menu disappears when navigating with arrow keys in 7.2.x

According to the conclusions of PTR-2896, fix LPS-144794 is not enough to solve the case in 7.2.x.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Add an Asset Publisher Portlet to a page
2. In Configuration > Setup > Display Settings set "Pagination Type" to "Regular" and set "Number of Items to Display" to "1" and save it
3. Add at least 2 Basic Web Content to the Asset Publisher
4. Open the paginator menu, and try to navigate down with arrow keys.

 Actual behavior:

Paginator menu is closed when you press an arrow.

 Expected behavior:

You can navigate through the list with up and down arrow keys.
