      Description

      How to reproduce:
      1. Make a new web content portlet, add a new article
      2. Publish the new article
      3. Edit the article, save as draft
      4. Click "Back to page" (not back button in browser, but the link on top right)
      6. Edit the article
      7. Click "Publish" or "Save as draft"

      Resulting error:
You have entered invalid data. Please try again.
Another user has made changes since you started editing. Please copy your changes and try again.

This is a quite common way of working for our users of the Liferay CMS. The only way to solve it is the delete the draft and copy the content back in. Not very user friendly...

          Reproduce in 6.0.x (revision:79531) and trunk (revision:79531).
          Test following description steps.
First time, I click "Publish" or "Save as Draft" button, I also get same message. When I try to click "Publish" button second time, then the content should be published.

Would you be so kind to write down the steps in more details? I was not able to reproduce it.

If it is relevant: note that you can't create a draft first version of web content (it is a different issue/feature). When you go back, web content display will say '! is expired' and article can't be edited any more.

Sorry, I didn't make out clearly for the ticket's descroption. You are right. I tested following the steps in your comment, I couldn't reproduce in trunk (revision:80112).
