As part of LPS-135623 (Support cookie compliance with GDPR), there is a need to enforce user consent when it comes to create and manage cookies in the browser.
Currently, there are some bits of JS logic that creates cookies, which are not enforcing user consent.
Therefore, the goal of this epic is to ensure that any cookie management operation at browser side triggered by DXP code is in accordance with user consent
Acceptance criteria
- DXP offers a JS API to create and access cookies from user agent
- All DXP codebase running on browser utilizes that API for those purposes
- API implementation sets/reads cookies according to the user consent available information.
