Cannot add structure with default locale different than English

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start the portal with a default locale different than English: 
   company.default.locale=es_ES
2. Add a new simple structure in the default language (Spanish)

Expected result: the structure is added without problems

Current result: "Your request failed" "Please enter a valid name". We can see the following errors in browser's console:
