      It is possible to publish a form without mapping all the fields to an object and without mapping all the required fields from an object

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Go to Object Admin
      2. Create an Object A with one required field and one not required field
      3. Publish the object
      4. Go to Forms
      5. Create a form
      6. Set the object as storage type
      7. Add a field to the form
      8. Publish it
      9. Create another form
      10. Set the object as storage type
      11. Add a field to the form
      12. Map the field with the not required field from the object
      13. Publish it

      Expected Result:
      Form is not published

      Actual Result:
      Form is published
