Back Button not working Roles admin portlet

Description
After searching for a user in assignees for a role, the back button in the ui stops working. The back button becomes unclickable.

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to Control Panel -> Roles -> Power User -> Assignees and search anything in the search bar
2. Select the back arrow on the page in the top left corner twice

Expected Results
The back arrow takes you back to the list or Roles

Actual Results
Clicking the arrow the first time keeps you on the same page, and then the arrow becomes unselectable after that
