Description
This request is to add a toggle or UI Configuration on the LDAP import screen to determine whether customers want deactivated users to be reactivated if an active LDAP account is imported.
Currently when users are deactivated in Liferay, they are not re-activated automatically when logging in via LDAP (See https://issues.liferay.com/browse/LPS-125588).
Customer use-case example: Users who are deactivated in LDAP are getting deactivated in Liferay. They re-activate those users in LDAP, which allows them to login, but that doesn't reactivate them in Liferay. This causes confusion for the users, short term impact where they can't access what they need to, and requires manual intervention by a portal administrator to re-activate their account.
By adding a toggle/UI configuration on the LDAP import screen to determine whether customers want deactivated users to be reactivated if an active LDAP account is imported, then other customers who may have different requirements would still have the option to achieve their necessary end-goal.
