Description
Motivation
In the templales for Account Created Notification (and others) some variables can be used (Definition of Terms), including "TO_NAME", related to user Full Name.
We want to include a variable related to user First Name.
Acceptance Criteria
- AC-1
- Given as an Instance Administrator I want to configure user email notifications and I open the Control Panel and navigate to "Configuration → Instance Settings" and select the Email category under the PLATFORM section
- When I want to put the users' first name into any of the templates' body
- Then I can see the [$TO_FIRST_NAME$] term with its definition in the term option list.
- AC-2
- Given as an Instance Administrator I want to configure user email notifications and I open the Control Panel and navigate to "Configuration → Instance Settings" and select the Email category under the PLATFORM section
- When I want to put the users' first name into any of the templates' body
- Then I can put the [$TO_FIRST_NAME$] term (variable) to the body of the template as a placeholder and save the template with it.
- AC-3
- Given as an Instance Administrator I configured user email notifications and used the [$TO_FIRST_NAME$] term (variable) at least in one of them
- When that kind if email notification is being sent to the users
- Then the [$TO_FIRST_NAME$] term (variable) in the notifications' the body of the template is being changed with the recepient users' first name before sending the email to them and the users receive the email notification with the proper first name.
