Asset publisher incorrect linking behaviour

When a asset publisher is placed at the bottom/ far down on a page and set to display abstract content, with small image, an interesting issue becomes painfully obvious. When the "Read more"-link is pressed the page is reloaded and reveals the content selected. So far, so good.
The issue is that, when reloaded, you are presented with the top of the page, not the position/anchor of the specific portlet/article you wanted to read.
