Connection to Marketplace times out due to JS not executing

    Description

      Various browsers cannot communicate using the Alloy Messaging component due to a JavaScript exception.

      This causes the browser to display an error message saying that it "Could not connect to Liferay Marketplace" even though the content is loaded because the scripts have failed to notify the parent window that it is done loading.
