Type: Feature Request
Affects Version/s: 6.0.12 EE
Fix Version/s: 6.0.12 EE
Component/s: Web Content > Web Content Administration
Environment:Liferay Version: 6.0 SP 1
Operating System: Windows Server 2008 R2
Application Server: Tomcat 6.x
Java Virtual Machine: Java 6
NEW FEATURE WISH:
User has created an article (web content) and has included resources (i.e. image from image gallery and link to document library document) to it either in Rich Text field using the CKEditor or in a separate field of type "image_gallery" or "document_library".
When the user edits the article after some time it is really hard to find out where the resource (image or document) resides in image gallery or document library.
Liferay should provide a way to show where the currently selected resource resides. Example solutions:
In Rich Text Editor: After selecting "Image Properties" and "Browse Server", the resource browser should by default show the folder in which the currently selected image is and also highlight the currently selected image. Similar solution wished also for document links in RTE.
In separate article field of type "document_library": After selecting "Choose", the Document browser should by default show the folder in which the currently selected document is and also highlight the currently selected document. Similar solution wished also for "image_gallery" article field type.
