When Upcoming Tasks portlet is deployed, adding task in Tasks portlet opens new page instead of updating popup

    Description

      Tasks is a Social Office based plugin. Please consult with Jonathan Lee on fixes and reviews.

      Steps to reproduce:
      With Upcoming Tasks on same page

      1. Clean environment
      2. Deploy tasks-portlet plugin
      3. Start liferay portal
      4. Sign in as [email protected]
      5. Add Tasks page
      6. Click Tasks page
      7. Add Upcoming Tasks portlet
      8. Add Tasks portlet
      9. Click Add Task in Tasks portlet
        • Description: Task1
        • Assignee: Test Test
      10. Click Save
      11. Click red X to close dialog
      12. Assert that Failed to retrieve content displays in Tasks portlet
      13. Reload page
      14. Assert that Task1 displays
      15. Click Add Task in Tasks portlet
        • Description: Task2
        • Assignee: Test Test
      16. Click Save
      17. Assert that new page has opened

      With Upcoming Tasks on different page

      1. Clean environment
      2. Deploy tasks-portlet plugin
      3. Start liferay portal
      4. Sign in as [email protected]
      5. Add Upcoming Tasks page
      6. Click Upcoming Tasks page
      7. Add Upcoming Tasks portlet
      8. Add Tasks page
      9. Click Tasks page
      10. Add Tasks portlet
      11. Click Add Task in Tasks portlet
        • Description: Task1
        • Assignee: Test Test
      12. Click Save
      13. Assert that new page has opened

      Clicking back in the browser brings you back to the Tasks page.

      This issue occurs only when the Upcoming Tasks portlet has also been deployed. Once it occurs though, deleting Upcoming Tasks does not solve the issue. If a task has been added to the Tasks portlet before the Upcoming Tasks portlet has been deployed, the Upcoming Tasks portlet must be deployed on a different page to produce the issue.
